Adaptation and reconstruction of the Home of Revolution in Nikšić makes a complex task that requires a new type of architectural imagination. It is a complete structural and programme transformation of the inherited and never completed mega project, which was, at the time of its origin, extremely ambitious and exceeded the real needs of not only the local community or the state of Montenegro, but probably the whole former Yugoslavia. What would be the best way of facing the unfinished complex, the motivation for the construction of which disappeared together with the disappearance of the system that initiated it? How to deal with the series of disproportions that define the project that is now situated in a completely changed social context?
